Anna joined Vertex in 2008. She has global responsibility for all communications-related matters. This includes the development and deployment of all marketing communication activities that contribute to profitable growth via the raising of brand and service line offering and awareness.
Anna started her career in IT as a graduate management entrant with the British IT company ICL, whom she joined in 1989. At ICL, she spearheaded the communications of the private finance initiative to automate British Post Offices.
In 1999 and as Director of Communications at the Teacher Training Agency, Anna revitalized the marketing of teacher recruitment and contributed to the first increase in UK post-war postgraduate teacher recruitment. After this Anna became Director of Marketing and Communications for QA, a London Stock Exchange listed IT Company where she pioneered a marketing strategy that measurably contributed to company profitability.
In 2004, Anna joined the London Metal Exchange as Director of Corporate Affairs. In this role she developed and enhanced the Exchange’s international reputation and increased the revenue and profitability derived from non-trading activities.
