Colm Coffey is the Chief HR Officer for Vertex, responsible for the development and execution of the global people agenda within Vertex.
Colm joined Vertex from Cable and Wireless Worldwide where he held the position of HR Director, Worldwide. He was a member of the leadership team delivering Transformation Program which contributed to the creation of one of the highest performing telecoms organizations in 2009. Prior to joining Cable and Wireless in 2007, he held the position of Senior Vice President for HR at Atos Origin and was responsible for Americas, APAC, UK and the Olympics. Atos Origin is a leading IT services company and a global provider of business consulting and technology integration services. Prior to this role, Colm was Group Director for People and Leadership Development where he oversaw the development and implementation of global processes and strategic programs. He has extensive experience in the people aspects of large complex insourcing, mergers and acquisitions. Previously Colm served for 5 years as a Special Constable with the Metropolitan Police.
In addition to Human Resources, Colm possesses a wide range of experience on the commercial side of the outsourcing business and is a Member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development.
