John joined Vertex as Managing Director for Private Sector and Utilities in 2007. John came to Vertex from Bell Canada, where he was Senior Vice President, Marketing, Product Solutions and Strategy for their Enterprise division. Prior to this role, John was a partner at McKinsey and Company where he co-founded the Financial Services Operations practice and the North American Contact Center practice. He started his career at IBM where he spent 7 years as Sales Leader, Large Accounts for IBM Canada.
John has more than 20 years of business leadership in marketing & sales, strategy and operational improvement. He has an in depth knowledge of working with large enterprises and their leadership teams to transform their businesses through technology, process improvement, and strategic focus. John has worked across a range of industries to achieve and sustain major productivity and quality improvements in call center and customer service environments.
