I am the General Manager responsible for the Marks and Spencer account managing an operation of 450 Customer Advisors and 50 Operational Managers, which increases to 900 Advisors during the Christmas period.
During my time as a Manager at Vertex, I have had the privilege to work on numerous accounts spanning Utilities, the Public Sector, Shared Services, the National Trust and now our Marks and Spencer account.
I consider myself fortunate that everyday I have the opportunity to work with people. People and achieving results are my passion, my Customers Advisors play a critical part in delivering operational excellence on behalf of my client, and that is something I remind myself of every day.
Vertex has provided me with tremendous career development opportunities. In 2008 I won the Vertex Manager of Year award at our corporate Outstanding Achievement Awards, was a finalist at the European Call Centre Awards receiving a 'Highly Commended' award in the category of Contact Centre Manager of Year.
To top it all, the highlight of my career came when I won the North West Contact Centre Manager of Year 2008, I could not have achieved this without the valued experience and knowledge I have received throughout my career with Vertex.
