How Vertex is making a difference…

Working in Public Services means it is more important than ever for us to embody the values we deliver for our clients. The government’s “Big Society” relies on businesses and voluntary groups working together to deliver excellent services for communities.

Our commitment to the Big Society is highlighted by our work with the British Volleyball Federation and with the national charity Age UK.

British Volleyball Federation

We have been supporting the British Volleyball Federation as part of the FTSE 500/BOA initiative since 2008, and will continue working with them in the run up to the 2012 Olympics. As a Business Partner of the BVF, we provide business support around our areas of expertise, as well as engaging our staff to raise awareness of the sport and participate in fundraising activities to help the athletes on their journey to 2012.

Age UK

We began our partnership with Age UK in September 2011. Our relationship with Age UK is a natural step given our delivery of services in the community for older people and our commitment to shaping the future of social care systems. We aim to raise funds for Age UK throughout the year, as well as increasing awareness of their work and information campaigns, and providing volunteer opportunities for our staff.
