Vertex awarded Outstanding contribution to Borough of Knowsley

Vertex, a leading international Customer Management Outsourcing business with clients in the private and public sectors, has been presented with the Outstanding Contribution to the Borough of Knowsley award at the borough’s 7th Annual Business Awards.

The black tie award ceremony was hosted by Councillor Dave Smithson, the Mayor of Knowsley, at Knowsley Civic Centre and saw 58 different companies nominated for ten separate award categories.

In receiving the final award of the evening, Vertex was praised by judges for its ongoing commitment to Knowsley and the creation of hundreds of jobs in the past 12 months.  The trophy and certificate was received by a number of staff from Vertex’s Phoenix House in Knowsley, including Carol Dorcey, HR Business Partner.

Vertex has had a presence in Knowsley since 2000 and now has nearly 800 staff working from Phoenix House, Moorgate Road, Kirkby, and 60 customer management staff, as well as systems and technology staff in Pegasus House, Kings Business Park, Liverpool Road, Prescot. From these two sites Vertex runs customer contact centers for many clients, including Tesco, HDNL (Home Delivery Network Limited), Scottish Power, The National Trust and a large Government department.
