VERTEX employee Sue Sixsmith has been successful in winning a prestigious award at the recent North West Call and Contact Centre Awards 2008. Customer Service Manager Sue beat tough competition in her category to secure “Contact Centre Manager of the Year” (over 50 seats) at an awards ceremony held at the Crowne Plaza Hotel in Liverpool.
Sue, who works on Vertex’s National Trust account at Vertex's Phoenix House contact centre in Knowsley, was shortlisted in her category with other managers from well known companies including United Utilities, BT and LBM , and emerged victorious on the night.
From the client’s customers to her colleagues, Sue’s unique blend of people, client, and customer management is highly revered amongst her peers and teams. Many cohorts have recognised Sue’s consistent demonstration of excellent service delivery and innovation delivered with "effortless determination."
Commenting on her win, Sue said: "I felt extremely privileged to represent Vertex at such a prestigious event. Winning the award was an amazing feeling and I am so proud to have achieved this. I couldn't have done this without the support and encouragement from the fantastic team that I am fortunate to work with on the National Trust account."

Adding to her ongoing success Sue has also did extremely well to receive 'highly commended' in the category of 'Contact Centre Manager' at the recent Call Centre Focus European Call Centre Awards 2008 in London.
