ING Direct UK completes successful upgrade of Omiga mortgage processing software with Vertex

Vertex, a leading global Customer Management Outsourcing business with clients in the financial services, private and public sectors, has successfully completed an upgrade with ING Direct UK of the Omiga mortgage processing software which underpins ING Direct UK’s mortgage lending solution.

The new platform is a major upgrade for ING Direct which has over one million customers in the UK.  As a result of the deployment its mortgage origination platform has been upgraded, without the need for data migration, from VB6 based code to a .NET solution.

Vertex will also provide support services following the successful upgrade.
