Vertex Public Sector Wins Business Partnership Award

Vertex, a leading global BPO and Customer Management Outsourcer has scooped the ‘Partnership in Social Services’ award for its collaboration with Thurrock Council at the inaugural Local Government Chronicle Business Partnership Awards.

The award recognises Vertex’s close partnership with Thurrock Council on its Community Solutions Project, in which together they significantly reduced waiting times for social care provision as well as reducing costs.

Andrew Warren, Managing Director, Vertex Public Sector, comments, “We are delighted with the award which recognises the step change we have worked together to bring about in the provision of social care for citizens living within the region. We have dramatically reduced the waiting time of social care assessments which can now be completed within a week, or same day for urgent cases, as opposed to eight weeks.”

The LGC Business Partnership Awards recognise and champion service providers who have worked in close partnership with a council or group of councils to deliver quality services. The judges include chief executives from councils across the UK.
